My sister got accepted or whatever, but a Robert Latte was involved. And an Ellie Pruneda. Can anyone tell me if this is a legitimate thing, or is it just another scam?
Where did your sister hear about them? How did they find out about her? What does being "Accepted" by them mean? I haven't heard of them, that doesn't mean they aren't legit, but I would be cautious. I would suggest that your sister ask them how long they have been in business, who their clients are, and ask to speak with some of their talent that is working.

Could be real, maybe not... I could do a little investigating for you, I have some tracking and snooping experience. I will need a few more details, just the basics: Full company name (from card or letterhead), address, phone, and anything else you may feel is pertinent. There are a few companies by that name strewn around the WORLD, so any extra info would be great! wickedgerbil@yahoo.com
Make sure she does not sign anything, or pay them a penny!

I am here to tell you that Bravo is going to want you to pay money to them and they can't guarantee you anything. You will pay for some classes to get you some "training" that really isn't that exceptional. You will pay to go to IMTA in either NY or LA and be put in front of "industry folks" and HOPE that something works out for you. In the many years that I have talked to people that have associated with Bravo...I don't know ONE person that became successful from doing so. You will get "auditions" and "call backs" but NO WORK! You may even win in certain categories at the IMTA competitions. You can check them out at www.myspace.com/bravotalent also.

I've worked with robert latte for a few years now and he's always been good to me. He originally sent me to new york when i was still new to the business and got me with an ok agency that was run by the late willi ninja. After i left that agency robert sent me to milan and got me a free place to stay for 3 months with an agency over there that got me some very good work. After i came back from milan robert paid for me a plane ticket to go to Chicago for a week for the International beauty show in rosemont and I never saw him on the trip that he paid for. Robert has some very good connections in the modeling world and works hard to get his models work. I cant say that some of the people he works with are as reputable and he may have since done some things that arent as honorable but i can say from my own experience that he has been a very good agent to me as far as getting me work and agents anywhere i asked him to. I do know that he tries to get me to go to the IMTA events but i've never been to one so far.
