The mission of the Academy for Film and Television is to give our students the tools necessary to become working actors and help working actors widen their repertoire. We give our students a well-rounded training program beginning with foundational acting skills that can then be translated into the more subtle acting techniques necessary for the camera. We examine the "business" of acting and help our students develop marketing tools to promote themselves professionally and competitively. They are then ready to audition and perform confidently and meet the demands placed upon them in any acting situation, particularly in the ever-changing and ever-growing film and television industries.
